Are We Preparing Our Students for Tomorrow?
Posted on November 19th, 2007 by wigington
I am old fashioned about some things (I like books, I don’t have cable, I don’t have a “My Space” page, etc.). But I sometimes wonder if we are so comfortable with what we grew up with that we forget what kind of world our students will face.
This video has been making the rounds, but it still is sobering. Take a look.

very thought-provoking!
Mrs. G:
I can think of two possibilities for your difficulty:
1) You will need to click twice on the arrow in the picture below the title. This will start the video. Sometimes certain technologies (such as java or flashplayer) require the two clicks to activate the object
2) The minimum system requirements for running the video are
*Macromedia Flash Player 7.0+ plug-in
*Windows 2000 or higher with latest updates
installed
*Mac OS X 10.3 or higher
*Firefox 1.1+, Internet Explorer 5.0+, or
Safari 1.0+
*Broadband connection with 500+ Kbps
You can download the latest flashplayer for free from http://www.adobe.com.
I hope this helps
